Kitten Policy and Enquiries

SHANGRI-LA KITTEN POLICY

•   Shangri-la kittens are registered, innoculated, dewormed, sterilized and microchipped .  They only leave our home at 12 - 13 weeks of age.
•   We prefer that our kittens remain as indoor cats or go to homes with supervised outside access and cat-secure premises. (See article on why cats should remain indoors on our Links page.)
•   We only sell with a signed contract between prospective new owner and ourselves as breeders.
•   Kittens are available for viewing by prospective new owners at 4 - 5 weeks of age.
•   On selection of your new kitten, a 50% deposit and signing of our contract is required within 7 days of viewing.   If you as the prospective new owner change your mind, the deposit is  refundable once the kitten is re-sold at the same price to a new owner.
•   We welcome and encourage regular visits by prospective new owners to our cattery as we prefer to meet the people who are wanting to offer a home to one of our very special  Shangri-la babies.  These visits help you and your new kitten to bond and will stand you in good stead when you take your new addition to your family home.

AT ALL TIMES, WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO MAKE THE PLACEMENT WE FEEL IS IN THE BEST INTEREST OF EVERY INDIVIDUAL KITTEN.
